Whilst every Nyfty Bot can work ‘standalone’ the benefits of linking multiple Bots are huge, and since COVID escalated the need for site check-ins, Attendance Bot has become the core Bot at the heart of most deployments. The key difference between Attendance Bot and other QR check-in systems is that it will SMS workers one on one, asking questions needed for on-boarding, message them until they respond then add that data to your Daily Construction Report in Procore. Unlike Google forms, which will ask you the same questions every day, Nyfty will remember you and won’t “lock up” your data in a PDF. Also, if individuals don’t have phones or aren’t able to use them on-site, Nyfty can handle crew check-ins for entire teams.
Chuck Borstel, Commodore’s Vice President of Safety and Regulatory Compliance told us how Commodore started using the Bots during COVID and love it so much they have recently signed an enterprise agreement and are taking the Bots company wide. Chuck said that they will never give up using Attendance Bot for check-ins as they are so valuable to their safety compliance processes.
Nyfty does your productivity reporting
When you use Attendance Bot, the really exciting thing is that Nyfty will populate Procore with very detailed information for Site Registers and Construction Logs, effectively writing your Daily Construction Report for you. It can gather worker information, like trade and skill level, and link to Manpower Bot to get details of all work done on site every day.
It can even be used to capture vaccination status and Inclusion and Diversity data, which can be a State reporting requirement.
Nyfty massively improves safety compliance
For people like Chuck from Commodore, the safety benefits of Nyfty are massive. Once Nyfty knows who is onsite, it knows exactly who needs to do what and when then triggers other Bots to make sure it happens and improve compliance and reporting. A couple of examples; if a new worker arrives on the job site, Nyfty will ask them to complete their Orientation.
