Night Shift Support for Construction Projects
Attendance Bot supports multiple shifts.
Night-shifts just got a whole lot smarter
Wrangling night-shift attendance is a logistical nightmare, especially when you're trying to sync it with reports that run on a daily schedule (we're looking at you, Procore's Daily Log). After working through this with crews who juggle multiple shifts, we've shipped Multi-Shift Mode in Nyfty's Attendance Bot.
How Multi-Shift Mode works
Whatever your shift set-up, the Attendance Bot can handle it. Here's what you can do with Multi-Shift Mode:
Automatic or Manual Mode: Each shift has its own mode. In Automatic Mode, Nyfty messages Foremen at the start of each shift, and they confirm who's on site and check in their workers. Just respond and move on. Manual Mode lets workers scan a QR code each day to clock in, with no Foreman in the loop.
Smart Access Controllers: Our controllers support multiple shifts, so the gate doesn't bottleneck at shift change. Apple/Google Wallet badges and RFID stickers scan in and out at speed. Pair with a turnstile if you need physical access enforcement.
Overlapping Shifts: Day, swing, and night shifts all on the same site? Configure as many shifts as you need, back-to-back or overlapping. Nyfty keeps them straight.
Customizable Shift Names: Name shifts anything you like. Early Birds, Night Owls, Swing Squad. Or Day Shift and Night Shift, if you're not feeling creative. The names show in enrolment messaging so workers always know which shift they're on.
Reassign Workers Between Shifts: Need to move a worker from one shift to another? A few clicks in the Console. Nyfty handles the rest.
Simple Setup: No IT degree required. Add your shifts, give them names, set start and end times. That's it.
Automatic Daily Log Reporting: Nyfty logs shift data into Procore's Daily Log automatically, using each shift's start time. No more adjusting reports or fixing mismatched timestamps.
Full Bot Integration: Already using Nyfty's PTP Agent or Toolbox Talk Agent? They support multiple shifts automatically. No extra setup.
In a nutshell
Tracking attendance across multiple shifts shouldn't be a logistical nightmare. Multi-Shift Mode handles whatever shift pattern you run. Less admin, more accurate reporting, fewer late-night calls about who clocked in when.
Ready to give Multi-Shift Mode a go? Head to the Console and switch it on.
