We were recently asked to collaborate again to help automate difficult processes created by COVID-19, in particular mandates that workers be vaccinated and requirements for General Contractors to provide evidence of that. Collecting photos / PDFs doesn't seem too big a deal, but having to get them and check them for every person on the job site is, to put it politely, a massive pain in the ass! So we figured we'd try and do something special.
Automatic collection & pre-validation of Vaccination Evidence
Nyfty's Attendance Bot supports asking people if they are vaccinated when they first check in, automating access and the processes they must follow, and now it also supports getting proof of vaccination from fully vaccinated workers. Attendance Bot even pre-validates the upload, checking for corroborating information and warning users that the item is being flagged for review if it looks suspicious. Check out the video here:
Automatically request, check and store Evidence of Vaccination with QR Attendance Bot
Increasingly job sites are being forced to require all workers are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Nyfty Attendance Bot's new optional setting"Require Evidence of COVID-19 Vaccination" makes it easy for workers to supply this information when checking in, and for site teams to manage validating only the suspicious documents.
Once this new setting is activated in Attendance Bot, when a worker first checks in to site they will be asked to state their vaccination status and if vaccinated asked for evidence to be uploaded.
Attendance Bot then actually "reads" the document that has been uploaded, understands what is compliant, escalates any issues to a human and provides feedback to the person submitting the upload. If the proof is compliant, the user is pre-validated. If the proof is not compliant, the item can still be uploaded but it's flagged for review by a human. Nyfty then sends the person checking in a customised SMS advising them how they should proceed, dependent on the information they have provided .
Once a worker has uploaded prevalidated proof of vaccination, they won't be asked to provide it again.
Additionally, there is a config option that allows specified companies to be excluded or included from having to provide evidence of vaccination. This is ideal when you are managing employee evidence of vaccination separately to that of sub-contractors.
How do I get started?
Easy peasy. Head to the Nyfty Console and create the Attendance Bot for your team. You can choose if you just want to ask vaccination status or if you want workers to provide evidence as well, then you can choose any companies you wish to exclude or include from providing evidence. Finally, you can customise your Vaccinated and Not Vaccinated messages and you're ready to go.
